Welcome to the 2025-26 academic year! We are excited and privileged to launch another academic year. We believe Bingham Academy is strategically positioned to partner with families from the missions, international, and Ethiopian communities to equip each child with the necessary skills for life-long impact.
Our teaching staff come from over 14 different nationalities and are committed to quality Christian education for the purpose of teaching truth, and equipping generations to change the world for God’s glory. We strive to holistically develop our students, not only academically, but also physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
Named after one of the founders of SIM, Rowland Bingham, Bingham Academy has been serving in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia since the late 1940s, beginning with 14 students, but now expanding to approximately 330 students from 30 nationalities. In this strategic African city of Addis Ababa, Bingham Academy is located on a beautiful landscaped campus, with excellent sporting and academic facilities.
Bingham Academy offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in a strategic ministry in Ethiopia whose impact will reach to the far ends of the earth. The tagline of our strategic plan is Better Together. It’s more than a tagline, however, it’s an understanding that when we all collaborate together - students, parents, staff, partners, we are a better school and diverse community.
